AYS in the Community:

In addition to our core mission, Albany Youth Soccer has participated in a number of related programs through sponsorships and donations.  Among these are:

• Cleats for Kenya: Between seasons AYS donated the collected cleats on hand to a growing program promoting youth soccer (football) in Africa.
• AYS has sponsored a number of Albany City School District organizations, taking advantage of advertising and promotional opportunities. You may have seen us in a program or on a T-shirt for the Falcon 5K, Founders Day or the Winter Guard Home show.

AYS Scholarships and Grants:

Albany Youth Soccer awards scholarships annually to former AYS Senior soccer players who play on the Albany High School sports teams.

Graduating referees who have served AYS at least 3 years will be eligible for a new scholarship program.

Applications for both of these programs are available annually through Albany HS Guidance Dept. and awarded at the Senior Sports Banquet.
